NUMBING CREAM

Numbing cream can be a big help in long sessions, HOWEVER! There are a lot of risks. If you are wanting to possibly use numbing cream before or during an upcoming session with Nickole, please reach out to her and let her know in advance. We are starting to see a lot more people having negative reactions, allergies, even 3rd degree burns with the use of numbing cream becoming more popular. Even if you have used it in the past, ALWAYSSSSSS do a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment near the area you will be tattooed to check for new allergies/negative reactions. DO NOT consume caffeine while using numbing creams/gels. It can potentially cause heart issues. DO NOT apply to an area that is larger than a standard sheet of paper 8.5”x11”.

TO DO A PATCH TEST: Take a pea sized amount of numbing agent and apply to clean skin near area to be tattooed. Apply saran wrap over. Monitor for 10-20 minutes. Numbing agents should not be on the skin for more than 1 hour. Take saran wrap off and take note on what your skin looks like. Is it swollen/raised, textured, red, blistered, etc.? If so, you should probably discontinue use. If you are unsure, take a well-lit photo and send it to Nickole.

DEPOSITS

Deposits are $100, non-refundable, and credit back to you on the final session of a project. Deposits are required when booking an appointment. You will have up until a week before your appointment to pay your deposit. If your deposit is not paid by then, you lose your appointment. If you no call no show, or reschedule 1 week before your appointment, you lose your deposit. When you reschedule a week or less before your appointment, you will need to put down another deposit unless you are rescheduling to a spot in the same week of your originally scheduled appointment.

During the months of October-December deposits will be $200, due to how often people cancel or reschedule last minute because of the holiday season. If for some reason you have to cancel an appointment and want to later reschedule, you will have a calendar year to do so before that deposit is void.

TIMELINESS

Nickole gives all of her clients 15 minutes past their set appointment time to show up. If you don’t show within that 15 minute slot and don’t communicate that you will be late (via call, DM, or email) then you will be considered a no-call no-show and will be blacklisted. Nickole arrives an hour or more before any appointment so that she is set up and ready to go, so she expects similar courtesy. Even if you do communicate that you will be late, if you are too late getting to the shop then Nickole may have to reschedule you.

AGE

The state law in Texas states that anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted to get tattooed unless covering offensive/gang related tattoos. Nickole will not tattoo anyone under 18.

DESIGNS

Nickole does not send designs prior to your appointment. She doesn’t because she has had people in the past take those designs that took her hours to create and then get them tattooed elsewhere. The reason you choose an artist is because you trust their work. Very rarely does she need to redraw designs, and if something small needs to be adjusted she can usually do it in a few minutes for free. Also, it is much easier to make changes in person because it will be easier for you to fully convey what changes you desire in person rather than email/DM. If it is a complete design change, your appointment will be rescheduled and there will be a $100 non-refundable re-design fee. If you want to commission a design, then you can, but please be clear that’s what you want when contacting. Design commission pricing is $150/hour.

GUESTS

If you would like to bring a guest, that is fine, but only 1 guest and they must be willing to wear a mask. Do not bring a whole group of people!!!!!

REFUNDS

All tattoos, PMU services, commission design fees, re-design fees, and deposits are non-refundable.
