TATTOO FAQ

How much does a tattoo cost?

Shop minimum is $100 and is for any tattoo that takes 30 minutes or less. Nickole’s hourly rate is $200/hour. A lot of different factors go into tattooing. Sizing, placement on body, amount of detail, style of art, whether it is black and grey or color, a coverup, level of difficulty, etc. And that’s just on Nickole’s side of things. Not to mention, how well a person sits, the integrity of their skin, what they use for aftercare, and overall health.

When getting a tattoo, please keep all of these things and more in mind!

Pricing is firm, but if you’ve booked for (ex.) 4 hours ($800) but some life event happens and you now only have $600, contact Nickole and just be honest. She is more than willing to work with a budget and split tattoos into multi sessions, if needed and she is able to do so. The factors mentioned above will be what determines the price as well as Nickole’s vast knowledge about tattooing and having been in the industry for 11 years. With that being said, pricing is still subject to change! If the design is altered (She allows 1 free minor change,) placement is changed, sizing is changed, etc. the price will change as well. She will tell you the new price before tattooing is started to ensure you are financially able to continue after the price adjustment. IT IS CRUCIAL THAT YOU ARE EXTREMELY DETAILED AND THOROUGH WHEN DISCUSSING YOUR TATTOO TO ENSURE PRICING STAYS THE SAME.

If it is a larger project (back piece, sleeve, etc.) obviously the total price will be split into payments since you will be sitting for multiple sessions.

Deposits will be deducted from the total price when the final session has been completed. Deposits are only good for 1 calendar year.

What should I use for aftercare?

Nickole now has affiliate lists through Amazon. You can click the links below and find her most recommended products for healing as well as long term care of your new tattoo. (Amazon affiliate programs do give Nickole a small commission for every sale, which she can then feed her kitties a nice treat with, so thank you!! <3)

If you do not wish to purchase anything from the lists, that’s okay!

For cleansing, anything unscented and dye free is best- especially if it’s also antibacterial!

For moisturizing, anything unscented, dye free, and not petroleum based is best. Lotions tend to heal better than ointments. Tattoos heal a lot like sunburns, and you wouldn’t use an ointment to heal a sunburn.. you’d use something moisturizing.

What should I do on the day of my tattoo?

Get plenty of rest, eat well (usually about 30 mins-1 hour before,) and hydrate. Avoid lots of caffeine, alcohol, or any other blood altering items. Exfoliation and lotion before your tattoo really helps as well. Although you may feel like you should shave, it is best not to in order to avoid razor burn. You can, however, trim the area with a hair trimmer if needed. Wear comfortable clothing that you are okay if droplets of ink splatter on them. Bring a distraction! Wether it’s an iPad, phone, headphones, book, etc. having a distraction can help you to not focus on the pain of a tattoo. Make sure to have already purchased your aftercare products somewhere before the day of your appointment, that way you don’t have to make an immediate “Walmart Run” and can just go home and rest :)

How do I book?

It’s as easy as filling out a booking inquiry! After consulting with Nickole, she will ask you to send a $100 non-refundable deposit through Cash App or Zelle. Through the months of October-December deposits are $200.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Since the total price will be known well in advance, cash is the most preferred payment method. CASH DOESN’T GLITCH :) Other accepted forms are Cash App or Zelle.

How old do I need to be? Do I need to bring ID?

You must be 18 or older. Please bring a non-expired state issued photo ID. If you are in the military, please use that as your ID card.

I have a question, but it’s not on the FAQ page?

Don’t hesitate to ask via booking form!
